    Dear Friends, After the successful running of the 2nd ”Plovdiv Cup” Aerobics Open we have the pleasure to invite You to the 3rd “Plovdiv Cup” Aerobics Open - International Youths Competition  from 22nd to 24th of September 2011 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria organized by Aerobic Union Bulgaria together with The Aerobic Sports Club “Aerobics-AMD”! Please, find below information and conditions for participation in the event:

  The Detailed program will be prepared and distributed to all participating federations with the Work Plan not later than 5th of September 2011.  
  1. Categories:
  Age Group 2                     15 – 17 years (born 1994 – 1996) - IW, IM, MP, TR, GR Age Group 1                     12 – 14 years (born 1997 – 1999) - IW, IM, MP, TR, GR National Development     9 – 11 years (born 2000 – 2002) - IW, IM, MP, TR, GR   4. Rules:                  The competition will be held in accordance with the FIG Code of points in aerobic gymnastics 2009 – 2012. AG 9-11: FIG Code of points 2009-2012 - Appendix V – National Development AG 12-14: FIG Code of points 2009-2012 - Appendix V – Age Group 1 AG 15-17: FIG Code of points 2009-2012 - Appendix V – Age Group 2   5. Qualifications: There is no limit on the number of participants per category and nation in the Qualifications. In case that there are less than 9 participants per category, no qualification is necessary.   6. Finals: The top eight (8) competitors from the Qualifications in each Age Group (9-11; 12-14; 15-17) and Category (IW, IM, MP, TR, GR) will take part in the Finals (max.2 per category and nation).   7. Awards: * For the winner in each category and age group a trophy will be presented. * For the Top 3 competitors in each category and age group medals and diplomas will be presented. * Diplomas will be presented to all the finalists. * A diploma of participation will be handed to all official members of the participating delegations.     8. Juries: Each delegation has to send at least 1 Judge with a valid FIG brevet.   9. Size of delegation:           There is no restriction on the number of competitors in the different age groups and categories. Regarding the officials the maximum size is as follows: - Head of delegation – max. 1 - Judges – max. 2 judges (at least 1 judge – see p.8) - Coaches – max.4 - Doctor/Therapist – max. 2 * Additional persons will be accredited under the same conditions as the official members of the delegations except that they have to pay 20 Euro/each for the farewell party.     10. Floor system: GYMNOVA floor, FIG Certified     11. Entry Fee: Individuals   20 Euro Mixed Pairs            30 Euro Trios           40 Euro Groups       50 Euro   The entry fee has to be paid to the OC not later than 29th of July 2011 – the deadline for the Definitive entry and will not be reimbursed.     12. Accommodation: The official Hotel of the competition is Hotel “Novotel  Plovdiv” – five stars Hotel in the center of the city. Address: 2, Zl.Boyadjiev Str. Plovdiv 4000 Web page: www.icep.bg

  There is a possibility to order meals. The price for lunch is 10 euro. The price for dinner is 20 euro. The Hotel has an underground parking charged with 5 euro for a twenty-four hour period.   All bookings for the Hotel and meals must be made through the Organizing Committee. For those delegations that did not book their accommodation through the OC, the OC decline any responsibility for the local transportation. Those delegations will be accredited for the price of 20 Euro/person (accreditation and farewell party). 50% of the Accommodation costs have to be paid to the OC not later than     29th of July 2011 – the deadline for the Definitive entry and Accommodation form and cannot be reimbursed. In case that there is a reduction on the number of people in the delegation after 29th of July 2011 the OC cannot subtract any money from the rest of the payment due. The remaining 50% of the Accommodation costs have to be paid to the OC not later than 19th of August 2011 – the deadline for the Nominative entry and cannot be reimbursed. The order for meals should be made in advance with the Accommodation form. The costs for meals has to be paid to the OC not later than 19th of August 2011 – the deadline for the Nominative entry.     13. Transport: The Organizing Committee may provide transportation to all delegations from Sofia airport, Sofia central bus station or Sofia railway station to the Official Hotel in Plovdiv and back. This transportation costs 20 Euro per person and should be paid to the OC not later than 19th of August 2011. The Organizing Committee will provide free of charge transportation from Plovdiv airport, Plovdiv railway station or Plovdiv bus station to the Official Hotel and back. For those delegations or member of delegations that do not arrive or depart on the official arrival (21st of September 2011) and departure (25th of September 2011) days, upon request, the OC may arrange additional transportation. The cost of it depends on the number of the people, the date and time. Please send your request to the OC not later than    19th of August 2011 in order to be able to arrange transportation and inform you about the price.   14. Deadlines for entries:

Visa: Participants who need an invitation to obtain a visa for Bulgaria are asked to fill in the Visa Request Form and return it to the OC and AUB not later than 29th of July 2011.       17. Music: For the musical accompaniment only audiotapes and CD’s may be used. For each category/competitor 2 copies of audiotapes or CD marked with the name, country, age group and category have to be presented. Please, make sure you have a 3rd copy which you can use during the trainings on the training podium.   18. Insurance: All participating federations are responsible for having the necessary coverage against accidents and illness, and repatriation. The OC will verify the Certificates of Insurance of all members of the delegations during the accreditation. 19. Additional information: During the accreditation the Head of Delegation must present the following: -      Passports of all members of the delegation -      Insurances of all members of the delegation -      2 copies of CDs or audiotapes for each routine -      National anthem -      National Flag -      List of difficulty elements for each routine   All further information will be given with the official Work Plan not later than 5th of September 2011. The draw of the starting order for the Qualifications and Finals will be done by AUB within 2 weeks after the Definitive Entry (date, time and place will be defined) and will be distributed immediately to all participating federations.   20. Registrations: All registrations can only be made by the FIG Member Federations (Gymnastics federations).
